Hi Brent,
I’m a condo owner in Kits and I came across your name in an article in the Straight from July about bicycle parking in multi-unit dwellings. Our building has recently decided to enforce the “no bikes in hallways and elevators” strata bylaw and I am hoping to argue this enforcement due to personal security issues of accessing the parking garage at night. Access is via an alley which is frequented by transient individuals, and the parkade itself has blind corners and has been the location of aggravated acts of vandalism against a member of the strata council who subsequently resigned her post.
If you can suggest any resources that might help me in making this appeal to our strata council and manager, that would be really helpful.
