West End Planning update after Council meeting

We wanted to send a quick update on the West End community planning process, including next steps.
Currently, we are refining the West End Community Plan Directions supported by the community in June view here into a draft plan.
Last Friday (Sept. 27th), Council was provided with an update on the planning process. They directed us to continue on schedule and to report back to them with a draft plan in November. As such, we anticipate that we’ll have a draft plan to share in mid-October to give folks time to review.
Coming up, in the weeks of October 21st and 28th we will host a series of “learning sessions”. These will provide an opportunity to learn about the plan, understand how it will help shape the future of the community, and ask questions.
We will also have an interactive map and short video available on our webpage that help explain the “big moves” of the draft plan.
Dates and venues for our learning sessions are still being confirmed. Once these are finalized, we will send you an update. Registration details will be on our webpage.
